RE: ircular hovering - HELP!
I'm not too sure on this heli. I am thinking if it's anything like a CX2 you probably control the swash plate with two servos. I think what you should do it the following. If it's flying in circles it sounds like it's going a little forward, and a little right or left rudder. I'd say first you need to correct the forward problem. With your main rotors stopped, try moving your cyclic control stick up - as if to move the heli forward, and observe which servo moves in which direction. For instance - lets say you move your control stick up and you see one servo arm move up. This would indicate that the servo arm moving up is supposed to move the heli forward. Now assuming that's the case - and assuming that there's an adjustable ball link attached to that servo, you would want to shorten that link by screwing the ball end down on the rod further, so it's not pushing your swash in that direction as far. to trim this out mechanically you would center the trim on your radio, and then shorten the mentioned link until you got no forward or backward movement. If you tail is spinning around and you can't trim that out with the rudder channel trim - I think that there's got to be some kind of screw on your motor control unit. It may say prop (proportional), and you probably have another one that says gain. I would try to turn your proportional screw one direction a little bit, and then test fly to see what the results were...if the rotation gets worse - try moving it in the other direction, or visa versa if it gets better but it's still got some rotation. If you end up going through this process and it all works out well - and you still have the heli drifting a little right or left - you can try the same method to adjust the other servo associated with this movement.
I've never worked on a lama - but I would think that it's very close to a CX2. This solution will probably work out just fine. I hope it helps.l..GOOD LUCK!
