I have one as well. I can truthfully say it's the best and most powerful normally aspirated 50cc engine on the market. That's with only stock mufflers. I haven't found a need to use cans yet but if I did the little powehouse would be stronger still. As to it's worth, well that's another issue altogether. I don't believe that any 50cc engine made by anybody is worth over $400.00 at the far outside. A fair number of them aren't worth more than $150.00.

It comes down to whether or not you're willing to pay the price the manufacturer has set for their product. If you were only comparing the Taurus to engines of comparable cost like DA, ZDZ, and 3w then I would have to say yes, it's worth it.
