Default RE: Tamiya KT

Congratulations!

They certainly are expensive, but I don't know of any Tamiya tank owner who was not impressed and happy with their purchase. Your new KT will be a lot of fun, but even though it is better than the HL tanks, it doesn't hold a candle to a full option tank. There is something about the added sounds of the motor, squeeking wheels, gun flashes and cannon booms that really take these tanks to the next level.

My advice would be to paint it and have fun. Then, in a month or two, sell it and put the money toward a FO KT and build it from the ground up. It can be very costly and frustrating to turn one of the older versions into a fully functional rc and even more so to make it FO...and you need to hear the sound of you turret rotating and see your cannon recoil. Good Luck!
