Novak XRS is a good choice for esc. It is made for 540 size motors, so will easily handle any 400 size application. I like it's "double pump" braking/reverse feature.

Radios are a matter of choice and how much you want to spend. Many people like the Futaba 2 PL series for inexpensive start:
