Yes this is your issue.

This can cause a lot of problems if the frame rate on the tx is slower than the twinsync. You should be able to tell if you are going into failsafe by seeing what it does and low throttle and high throttle (more movement at one than the other if this is your issue). Bottom line is everyone needs an update. I am really bummed but I am glad I found it before someone damaged an airplane. The double frame rate made the operation of the device perfectly matched but created this problem.
