I did it just as you said it 9-1/4 in from the trailing edge, of course plane up side down.

the other giles from mr. miller balance ok, no extra weight added

it went up and down 3 times, my giles was 0 on the wing, 0 on the stab, so we gave it a little less than 1 degree on down elevator to compensate,. since it was already glued, alfredo´s also has down elevator on his trim, I guess the topic is well discussed, the new fus will be done as you sugested before +1 on engine, 0 on wing and +1 on stab, hopefully I will enjoy my plane.
