Default Fan "pitot" pressure for OX46VXDF / Thorjet DF question

Hi,

I want to run a fan (or pitot) pressure system on an OS46VXDF / Thorjet fan combo and I wondered if anyone has any advice ? I was thinking of fitting a "backplate" style pressure fitting into the fan shroud so that the nipple is on the outside and the fitting is in line with the fan blades so the centrifugal air pressure is directed into the fitting (iyswim). Is this the way it's done ? An alternative is to mount an "L" shaped fitting more rearwards than the blades and have the fitting face forwards towards the blades, would this be preferable ?

Many thanks,

Boo
