Default 3W ENGINES HELP!!!!!

Believe 3W's claims and Gerhard (of AI) know his engines. Unlike other engine manufactures who overstate their engine's power, 3W either accruately states the power or actually understates the power. For example, the 3w-24 (I have 15 of them for use in my univ research project) has as much power as the G-38 while weighing much less. I have a 2- 3W-50. They will swing a 22-10 at 7500-7600 rpms. A 24-10 would swing in the mid -6K (I am guessing from experience with these engines). Per cc, the single cylinder engine will swing a bigger prop than the twins but the twins are smoother. Full rpm fuel consumption is around the engine displacement in cc per minute (3W-50 = 50 cc fuel per min full throttle).

The rear carb is a pain but having the carb in "quiet air" pays dividends in smooth running during aerobatics.
