Default 3W ENGINES HELP!!!!!

EJB

Those figures came from a Zinger 22 6-10 wood prop. Both of my 50's turn the same rpm. A Dynathrust 22-10 turned 7300. If you ever own a 3W you will find that the engine will equal or exceed the published specs. Many engine manufactures overstate their engine's performance. For example, the RCS 140 (22 cc) is advertised at 3 hp while the 3W-24 is advertised at 2.5 hp. I have run both engines and the 3W-24 is a much stronger engine turning the same prop 500-1000 rpms faster. Many people complain that the 3W engine is heavier. The increased wt is from increased fin area for cooling and larger more robust bearings. These engines are powerful and built to last.
