I rather fancy the earlier versions, before the long nose and wings. I modeled another Kurt Tank design, the FW-56 Stosser, in 1/4 scale, some years back. I donated that to the Rhinebeck Aerodrome museum in 2002 and have not built strictly from plans since.(no more parasol wings for me thanks)
It seems to me the trend in the magazines has been leaning to American and allied fighters latley, thats fine dont get me wrong, its nice to see them but my tastes have always been a bit off the mainstream and for some reason tend to gravitate to German aircraft.
