Chuck is correct in that the original bases of the SIMJET-1200 had linage to the Wren 54 as it used their combustion section and Turbine wheels. However this is no longer true and all components are of the Simjet-1200 are of Simjet manufacture.

This info serves no value at present as the 1200/18 is not currently available as it is not in the production schedule until late this summer at best as I have been advised and I have had no updates on 1200 production recently.

There are many 1200's of both the older 13# and newer 18# engines in use with a very good performance record.

Sorry I cannot provide a more informative outlook for this much desired engine.

I wish to reafirm that I have full parts inventory to support 1200's in current use.
