First of all will this plane make a good Pattern plane? I’ve never tried pattern before. I’ve been on the 3D thread looking for the right engine for this plane. But it looks like it will be under powered for 3D unless I get a larger engine. But, I hear I need to stay away from the extra wt. a larger engine will add. I’m looking at a 26cc gas. Also the box says its wt. is 10lbs. What it doesn’t say, is this just the plane or plane w/engine wt? Also the instructions don’t have the throws on it. Any recommendations for High and Low rates? I’m new to R/C flying about 2 years now. I fly 40 size, Ultra stick, Heckler, P-51 PTS, Sky Rader Trainer with floats. I fly and screw around. No rime or reason to my maneuvers, just having fun. I think Pattern will give me some discipline in my flying. Any good videos out there that give good instruction on pattern, 3D etc. One that just doesn’t show the plane but one that’s shows what you are doing with the controls to do that maneuver? Thanks.
