If you hit your field box while taxi-ing into the field, wouldn't that tell you something? What if that was someone standing there and you hit his leg and sent him to the hospital? Doesn't it make sense to shut down at the flight line like most of the posters have said above?

Why people would put others in danger just to satisfy some need to taxi into the pits is beyond imagination. It's hazardous and dangerous.

We have one strict rule at out field that all planes are shut down at the flight line. Simple. No one gets hurt.

Safety is not something that needs a poll or should be voted on. It's common sense.
