No skills here to build a converter

I thought a standard battery charger wouldn't provide enough steady power to a Lipo charger. Don't they eventually move into trickle mode and drop power?
You might as well pick up a dedicated AC/DC converter. The prices are pretty low these days.

I use a Bulldog RDC-30 to power my E-Station BC8 lipo charger and haven't had any problems.

Think the prices on that site are a little high but I'm sure you can shop around and get it for less.
