Default RE: Grass landing and take off with the Blade CPP

hrm, I land and take off from tall grass all of the time, probably a good 3 to 4" I just hold the rudder to the left (ie no tail motor power), until it gets light on the skids, and then let her rip. I also have the dual tail mod, the micro heli CF tail fin, and the fuse mod so just incase it over amps the ESC it will just pop the fuse. With landing on the grass I've never popped the tail rotor off once. I don't ever plant it in the grass though. It's always soft put downs.

You might just need a bigger tail skid like the other dude was saying. This one is CF and 12 bucks, but you should never need a new one. There are also other options, like the super skids for example
