I've noted the same thing with the tail surfaces. They work very well. 10 or 12 degrees of elevator is all one needs for normal or IMAC flying. You may still want to soften the reaction a little with expo. I started out with 20 degrees for low rate and detuned to 15 for my basic flying. It's still a little quick but I prefer that.

Have you tried any low speed snaps yet? Even with the plane almost stopped they wil stop right where you tell it to.
