RE: Ultimate tips over.
Thanks for all your advise especially, Tom. But no one was able to give me advise as how to fix stupidity. Last night went out to the shop to make sure another plane I was going to fly today was charging and glanced at the Ultimate and all of a sudden I had an epiphany. I looked at the landing gear for the umpteen time and it was backwards. I know I had it on right at some point but during assembly I had removed it and later put it on the wrong way.
Turned it around and still put one washer under landing gear at the back bolts, as suggested by Tom, and took it to the field today and it did not even, once, try and nose over. Did not have the pants on but have now put them back on and will take it back to the field on Wednesday and see how it does with pants. I am sure that it will do great as it did today.
I loved this plane, but now am completely head over heals. It flies like a dream.
Thanks again all,
Dan
