I am not certain, but I think that the only one you can buy these new is the Board Sharks model. The others are not new. Also, I think that rcsurfrider and the others no longer mod these surfers. Your best bet is probably to buy the Board Sharks then modify as necessary. I ran mine at the beach Saturday and it ran well. It can certainly catch waves, and the inside stayed dry. I need to order a couple of batteries though. The one that comes with the surfer dies quickly.
While it was running, it was extremely fun. Mods will come as the budget allows!
