Don't set that plane up with flaperons! As stated above you'll have "wash-IN" in the wings which would make it very unstable laterally. Flaperons on a Corsair would be a bad thing.

I have had several Corsairs in various sizes up to and including 1/5 and the ailerons were very effective. A lot of throw is not needed and could cause trouble. The suggestion of differential ailerons (more up than down) is not a bad idea. Also learn to use your rudder more at slower speeds and lining up with the runway.
