I built that Chipmunk several years ago and flew it with a converted Homelite 25 on an APC 17X8 prop. The plane was heavy at around 16+ pounds, but with that big 89" wing, it flew well, about like the scale trainer version. Scale in this case means somewhat aerobatic, as the original trainer was no slouch. It is a good model. If they were still in production, I would build another one (a bit lighter).
