Default RE: New CMP Cessna 182 .52 size

Put mine in the air today, was blessed with a tip stall to the left, luckily got it leveled before she kissed the ground. Bent the nose gear, and destroyed the front wheel pant. Bent the nose wheel back into shape (very soft metal) topped off the tank, fired up the OS 70 4s, and tried again. Kept it on the ground longer for more speed, went up with out a hitch, flew great, needed about 6 clicks of down to keep her from climbing. I gotta say the plane looks really good in the air. Tested the flaps at altitude, very effective, decided not to use them, slight bounce on second landing, bent nose gear again, not as bad but was still pointing back. Will be replacing the wire on the nose gear, too soft. I fly off grass, found out that you need to keep it on the gound longer for more airspeed. Good luck with yours.
