I installed mine side mounted. With all the holes and blind nuts in that firewall, it's a shame they don't line up for a side mount. I used a GP adjustable mount, as it mounts "square", i.e., once you center the mount holes, it will fit right side up, sideways or inverted. I did have to make at least 3 new holes, I recall. I liked the clean look. Also, the plane seemed to fly fast, even on a 12X4 APC. Very clean aerodynamic shape. I tried to locate some pics I posted on an older thread, no luck, so far.
