Hi gtsum-- Yes you're probably right. This is my first 2.4 radio purchase, and I'm a little paranoid coming from my old Airtronics MX3 FM whose weak range and heavy glitching is just atrocious. I just want to make sure that the next radio I buy is really rock solid in the range/glitch department, above all else.

As far as the battery voltage goes, I believe it will NOT handle that high a voltage without a BEC regulator thingy...go to the Nomadio home page and go to the forums there and ask these questions...they will get you straight!
