I installed a ASP 52 on mine and it was more than enough power. Pers. Op. is that anything larger would be a waste. Remember the factory supplied landing gear is short legged. I bought a taller set of gear for mine and it worked out fine. Prop clearance is very close with the original. Mine has already bit the dust but not because of the planes ability to fly, only mine. This is a very fun plane to fly. I am in the process of rebuilding it into a monoplane. Like I said before this plane DOES NOT GLIDE.
