RE: Hangar 9 Twist 3D Part II - Thread Continuation
I want to see pics of that Biplane!
We got home from LV today and I began the process of breaking the motor for my new T\/\/!$T. I know everyone likes to overpower these planes but I've never been disapointed with the .46 I had in my last one. I may eventually go with a 4 stroke but I had this on the shelf so its mounted now. I ran a tank of fuel through and it seemed to idle and transition well after a few needle adjustments. If all goes well I'll maiden it tomorrow.
As you all know, the T\/\/!$T is repairable but after a few major overhauls, the damage is too much. My recent crash was the final blow to the fuselage. The tail is virtually unharmed and the wing is repairable, everything else is toothpics. Has anyone put one back together in any other fashion other the above mentioned Biplane? What would you think of a high or mid wing Twist? I can't seem to throw this plane away after repairing it 5x previously. I'm leaning toward a high wing configuration. Anyone tried this?
