Maybe not: Jim Morrow's drawing in Air Classics May 1979 shows the J10 wingspan 36' 1-1/4, which yields a 86.65" model at 1/5 scale.
Haa-ha, you can believe whatever. I have his drawings too from the 1961 Air Progress (same value). My research found the Cl.I span to be (12.05m Kenneth Munson) and (12.02m early version, Gunter Schmitt) and (12.04m PeterGray/Owen Thetford). 12.04m is about the middle of the values and thats (39' 6" ) = (474" ) 1/5 scale = 94.8"
I have found many errors in the Jim Morrow drawings. They look pretty good, but you know they were made 40-50 years ago.
