TIP OF THE DAY:

After my second crash with the HBK2, and after installing new blades. I noticed that one of the blades drooped about a 1/2 inch. Prime suspect was the feathering/spindle shaft. Yep, it was bent pretty bad.

The tip is to put masking tape over the openings in the motor, I have a 3800kv outrunner on it, and the openings are pretty large.
The tape prevents any small washers, thrust bearings, nuts, etc. from falling into the motor and causing a nightmare trying to get them out.
