I trying too find out what would be considered the best 1sdt Heli for me. I have several years of experience flying fixed wing electric planes and a little knowledge (read very little) of basic heli principles. I’d prefer to stay away from the coaxial models as I in tend to fly outside and I don’t think they would prove to be challenging for more than a month or two.
I was looking at the Falcon 3d but wondered if this was the best choice. Whatever Heli I get I want to be sure that it has a very good head holding Gyro. I tried a EF Saber and had problems keeping the tail where I wanted it and couldn’t get it to hover.
I’d like something RTF or ARF with complete radio set as I don’t think My DX6 will work well with a Heli. The second most important thing would be the manual(this is where the Falcon falls a bit short I’m told). I don’t know some of the simple things (how to balance heli blades for instance) needed to begin and want a manual that will fill in some of the gaps. The top ceiling I’m willing to go on the price is 500 or so.
Any comments or suggestions would be welcome.
