I tune to both performenc and temp, I get it running good then check temp but sence both my engine have 1 gallon or less, I'm not at full race tune
You do not have even a gallon through either of your STS engines yet? Most times when I break in engine I have a gallon through them in a couple of days. Have been know to break in 2 new engines in a week and use 2 gallons plus.

sence I don't race I'm not in a big hurry to get them broke-in, but I think I habe a few tanks over a gallon through my 21, but I have only half a gallon through my 30.
I let the engine cool between every tank, I got half gallon through my 30 in about 2 afternoons. and with work, the veary HOT weather, my engine modding, and school starting back soon. the main thing is I just don't want to get out in the HOT sun. my Dad found a heat index chart, and the heat index around here is any where from 120-130F
