Sorry I missed answering your PM - I had a couple of days out of the office last week.

With an acceleration delay of 7 the throttle should be about 3.5 to 4 seconds, so there may be something wrong. Check the running temperature as the engine accelerates - if it's rising towards 800 the ECU will hold the engine back.
Check the position of the engine relative to the tailpipe, it should be about an inch and a quarter away. Which tailpipe are you using and what is the diameter? - it needs to be large enough.
