Default RE: Painting plastic rims

If you want to paint the plastic bits and pieces on your savy, a good paint on the market isn't a R/C paint at all. For the best results, go with the Krylon paint for plastics. Follow the instructions for painting, and it will give you a good durable shine and adheres and flexes well with the plastics. Still on the other hand it will not withstand any more abuse than a real car's finish. So if you think what you do would scratch the paint of a real car, then chances are it will scratch it off you plastic parts as well.
