I thought that the connection of the fan would be more complicated. I believe that I can connect it directly to the ignition switch without problems. My idea is to use the fan to ventilate the interior of the tank and to substitute the noisy motor of the smoke generator. I saw it in the following post:

Another thing: somebody knows if it possible to repair a smoke generator. I think that mine has died.
