It is the best radio I have ever owned it makes setting up a jet so easy and you can add a Futaba MPDX-1 Multi-Proportional Decoder 8-Channel to it to add an additional 7 proportional channels the 12 existing ones
Yes, it is fantastic that you can use two MPDX-1's to expand channels from 14 to 28. But the best value for me is that you can set any channel and any trim function to any stick, trimer and knob what you like. I think that 14MZ is the most flexible Tx system in the market.
Do you realise that the Multiplex Profi 4000 could already do all that in 1996[>:]? However, the untimely death of it's designer has probably stopped Multiplex from now being again 10 years ahead of the competition. As for my next radio, since my Profi is now 11 years old, it will be the 2.4gig 14 MZ, when it eventually gets released.

jjrrr boet - I was wondering who'd be the first to mention MPX!

MPX have also supplied the Multinaut (a channel expander) for years now but, I agree that it looks more and more like the P4000 is on it's way out!
