I'm looking for ideas for adding additional muffling to engines on a test stand. I want to be able to test the engines in the garage without getting complaints about the noise. Has anyone out there made a setup that works?

I was thinking about using a small car muffler plumbed in some way onto the engine's muffler. The setup would need to be quickly and easily connected to and disconnected from the engine. Any input will be appreciated. I don't want to reinvent the wheel if it's already been done.
