Jeez I thought we were talking first 1/8 buggy!
My first buggy was a 1988 Tamiya Hornet!
Still got it now though it doesn't get used
I thoughtso too. My first was Tamiya Falcon.

if every buggy counts then my first was my tyco "heads up" 9.6v turbo hopper (watever that is) my parents got it b4 i was born...they planned on getting a mailbox and wen they went to walmart, they got wat they thought was a mailbox. wer guessing someone switched the insides and now we hav a 17 year old rc car
Started with a Metro Jet Hopper (I think called tyco in US)
Then Tamiya Fox, started racing at that time
Upgraded to Schumacher CAT XLS
went on road 1/8 with PB phoenix
stepped away from hobby for 15 years
now am back, only have a truggy at this stage, but am thinking a buggy pretty soon.

Pretty much off topic, sorry
