If all you want to do is to learn to fly, then buy the cheapest available. I spent the money on RealFlight and I'm still spending money on it - a new controller (mine broke) just cost me $50.00. I can get my Futaba 9C replaced for that![:@]
But, with RealFlight I've done a lot more then just learn to fly RC.

When I get the change to actually take my planes to the flying field I can now do most aerobatic maneuvers with my aerobatic planes, they even look halfway decent - and I've received compliments on my flying abilities from experienced pilots. [sm=thumbs_up.gif]Plus I can even hover my 3D plane (kind of). [sm=75_75.gif]Of course on the Sim I can hover all day and I could probably fly unlimited in IMAC!
All of that with less then a year in the hobby. The simulator has built confidence and abilities that I don’t think I’d have without it ... the old saying; “you get what you pay for” is true with RC simulator too.
