Well PeeJay we seem to be on the same wave length. I had to exchange my first SW26 I bought because it only lasted about 3 min before it stopped working. I think I got anxious and threw it in the water and both the shafts probably had zero lube on it from factory. Plus there was evidence that the boat had been used anyway. So I got a new one and I immediately bought a Chameleon 19t motor using the stock cooling coil. It runs great and is much faster than stock but I got thermal shutdown after about 5-6 mins. I am running a 7 cell IB3600 and stock prop. I greased the props beforehand so it wasn't that. I am going to flirt with a smaller prop size now.

I just installed a plastic Octura X431 prop today. It slid right on and was the right size and fitment for the SW26. It's a little smaller than stock so I am anxious too see what kind of heat and speed I have now. I will head to the lake later and report.
