Hmmm TO Maiden or not to Maiden is the question. Havent flown it yet to scared my TVV!$T sits in the corner waiting for me to get enough nerve.[&:] But i would have to do it buy myself. No one to go with me. Is this wise? Decisions, Decisions. If i fly it into myself and i'm alone that may not be good.[X(] I have my cell phone and can call 911 if i'm not unconsious. Some one needs to build a flight field in my town. Only nice thing about were i go fly is there Are no rules except my own.[8D] Well what would you do go and fly it or wait till you had someone to go with just in case.
Link....I know the feeling of maidening a Plane...I maidened my T _ _ _ T just a few weeks ago..I found out my heart is very strong....Our club does not allow us to fly by ourselves..there always has to be a second person, just in case something goes wrong..needless to say...there are plenty of people flying by themselves, but it sure would be a wise thing to have someone with you.
Let me share one war story with you....my best bud started up his T _ _ _ T...while doing so, part of the prop came off..must have had a crack in the prop...when he looked up, his throat was cut ever so slightly..with the speed the prop came off, you can imagine what could have happened. He had to sit down for a few minutes to get his adrenaline under control and clean the skin of his throat...
make sure you balance your plane correct....also, balance it laterally.....however and whenever you maiden it....good luck!!
