well the maxx is more known, but the e-savy is rtr, it has batteries charger, etc.. vs. maxx u need batteries charger etc..

the savage out of the box is faster, and stronger IMO easier to work on, i have jumped mine like crazy, the only thing i had a problem was the shock end gaps popped off the screw and would cause it to bottom out, but other then that nothing, and if you wan, i will look on tower, the have a plug to cut it down from 2x 7.2v-8.4v to just one battery, so he can learn on it, unless he already has driven RC.

There both equally good, in there own ways.

If you could find one i would say the twin force but there hard to fine, thats an rc mt that would last.
