Since Hot Bodies is a subsidiary of HPI (HPI created Hot Bodies or acquierd it so Atsushi Hara can manage and run it), I am wondering why did HPI take e-zilla away from HB? Why not put the advertiseing to E-Zilla like it does for E Savage now?
well how i see it, and many other did, is because there are no after marker parts for hot bodies cars, only hot bodies offers a few option parts, so hpi took it over called it the e-savage, so companies like rpm integ pro-line etc.. would start making parts for the truck.
I heard it was because Hot Bodies wanted to focus on making the competition-level cars and HPI wanted to make the fun / sport cars. Since the E-Zilla was a fun car, they transferred it to HPI. Also, Hot Bodies have now discontinued every single fun car in their range, leaving only the competition cars there.
