2 questions, Should the chassis be flipped so the battery is in front?

Where to get the 5 x 7 mm x .2 shims for pinion gears? there's supposed to be a bag of 10 available and I like purchasing from tower if possible.

oops 3 questions, How would 4 wheel steering work if limited to a 2 channel radio? wopuld it be worth it?
