I guess this is really for the newbies coming into the sport. The aircraft that you are going to be flying are and can be very lethal. A couple of days ago one of the planes lost control and went through the roof of a metal barn. Think what would have happened it that had been on the flight line [sm=redface.gif]. If you don't belong to AMA please join. They promote model airplane safety. Also included with the membership is insurance against these kinds of mishaps. If you are a older flyer and haven't joined AMA, I encourage you to do so. This is a great sport and most of the people that are involved are some of the greatest people in the world.
