its a spring or rubber band that is bound on the carb arm or the servo arm, make it so it doesnt get in the way and so when the reciver is shut off, it pulls it enough to shut it back to idle.

this is so when everything fails and the servo goes dead, it shuts the carb and stops it from going wot. it also makes it drop rpms faster which is good for jumping.
