I had two of these. It's a nice flying plane, and the instructions that came with the plane were lacking in direction. There were no control throws listed. I used the tlar method. That Looks About Right. I think I just set it up with all I could get for throw and then went with around 40 % D/R and flew on low.

Overall, the plane was pretty tough. The landing gear structure was weak, and the horiz stab was weak. I also noticed some of my CA hinges had pulled loose. On the landing gear, I had no problem with the second plane. I put glass cloth over the formers like Bill Pryor did, then sealed that lower area and filled it with minimally expanding foam. The horizontal stabs cracked in the middle on both of my planes. I don't know if flying wires would keep it from cracking. I would try it.
