DGrant,
I just made my first set of CF landing gear. I have been unable to find any info on the actual number of layers of cloth. (I also forgot the part about PVA I tend to go on the light side (a 180 swing from 2 years ago!) and went with 7 layers that taper to 5 layers at the ends with 2 layers of 3/4 oz glass on the outsides.
BTW, nice plane!
