Default RE: Whats in your field box?

Ken,

I agree totally! My field box that is pictured above weighs less than the gallon of fuel and battery with what I have in it. The drawer isn't to big and I just carry enough stuff to fit the normal everyday nuts, bolts, and allen head bolts. Plus a small phillips and standard screwdriver. Oh, I always take along a small needle nose plyers. I've seen some of those repairs where they end up in crashed or additional damage. This Winter I'm going to build my own table for the pit area like a few other members have done and inside they have everything locked up. Then I won't even have to lift a finger or a fieldbox. Plus it will be built by me for my style of planes and nobody else will use it. That way I'll always know I have a table even on event days.
