my idea is in rc trucks if you get a low kv motor, with high rpm limits, and alot of volts to get to that limets. and that means tons of touque. and you can gear up, or in this case have a wild picth.
Yes, the more power you put in to any R/C vehicle or anything for that matter, the more potential for speed. It's that simple.
People just don't walk in to a new part of the hobby and crush world records. It takes decades of experience to do so, experimenting with many prototypes.
Do you plan to build this 1/12 hull from scratch. Is it going to be fiberglass or wood?
