just some info,
i just put the 5700 with a 3s 5000 lipo from max amps in my XXXT LOSI. i geared it at 12 pinion and 90 spur. that thing was so insane that i could never make it past quarter throttle.
temps were hitting 160+ .and the speed and power was wicked fast. i geared it as low as i could just to keep the temps down.
next i decided to put the 4600 in it and try. now my temps are 130 and throttle is around 3quarter to full throttle. on good long straights around the field. but driving on my track i can
open it up being careful. cause the power is still crazy and it will flip it on demand at at time.
my choice is the 4600 in an off road truck. and anything over that needs to be in an on road cars because of the lower gearing they use.
i'm happy, my temps are good now.
