turning in is leaning it out. The more lean you have it the hotter it will run. If you cant get the temps up then take a wet paper towel and wrap it around the head and run it. This will help. 10 tanks if broke in properly is plenty for race ready but right now sounds like the first 5 will be useless because it did not get up to operating temps. If you dont let it warm up to 200 during break in the pinch will be too tight adn you can break a connecting rod on higher rpm's.
