ROFL!!! Nice one, maybe some lube in there would have helped. But I dont think that was only three laps without washers that caused it. I would sugest that you look into your front and rear diffs too, because the only reason the center diffs interals spin is if there is a restriction at either end, and yes they do spin normally under acceleration as the spin up at one end. But to be totally shot like that I think you've caned that ride with a diff fitted in backwards.
